1979 Ford Ranchero GT

1979 Ranchero GT, originally a Texas truck most of its life until it came to Maryland a few years ago. The paint is faded and has some light surface rust but I have not found any rust holes. The truck bed is near mint, no dents, no rust holes, all the trim around the bed is excellent. There is some surface rust in the bed but no rust holes! The tailgate is also rust free. The floors are completely rust free. The frame is rust free. Even the battery area survived.

The engine is a 351W, 2V, AT, AC, PS, PDB, dash tach and gauges. The odometer reads 54,000 miles.  The engine in the Ranchero had a rap in the bottom end so I replaced it with the engine from a 1978 LTD II.  I added an aluminum intake and 4 barrel carb. and a set of headers. I put on 4 new shocks, brake pads on the front, wheel cylinders and brake linings on the back. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil, filter, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, cleaned and painted the engine. The car has 14" magnum 500 style wheels with new tires. The interior is very clean. The drivers seat area has a large tear and there is a small crack in the dash.

The original engine and trans goes with the car. Also baxes of extra parts. This is a very solid car that can be driven as is or restored over time. Although there is no rust there are some dents that will need repaired. Right now the car is a solid 10 footer. The original paint looks great from 10 feet away. Clear Pa title in hand.

Price for car and all the extra parts $4,000.00
